THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is a multinational that operates in the field of (bio)pharmaceutical developent and production.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The supervisor will be responsible for the overall performance of his/her team that consists of approx. 15 people with a background in MLO or HLO. The department QC Microbiology performs the analysis of raw materials, intermediate and final products and provides quality (GMP) advice to the various production and support departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- responsible for the achievement of your team's Key Perfomance Indicators (KPIs) in terms of timely delivery of test results, first time right, process improvements, etc.
- closely monitor the development of your employees and set individual targets
- frequently organize 1-on-1 interviews to discuss personal development
- implement Continuous Improvement methods and coach employees on the job
- proactively liaise with the production departments and other parties
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/Master degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or similar
- experience in people management is a strong plus
- strong social skills and an eye for diversity and inclusion, able to get the best out of people
- strong language skills in both Dutch and English both oral and written
