Statutory Accountant
Currently we are looking for Statutory/Management Accountant to join a newly created SSC in Warsaw. A team will be responsible for supporting Global Business Units for EMEA region.
Client Details
Our Client is a well-known American company. For their developing Financial Centre of Excellence in Warsaw we are seeking a Statutory/Management Accountant. The organisation is known for its open communication, supporting atmosphere, best practice implementation and stability. Our Client is located in Warsaw City Centre.
Description
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with company's filing schedule across EMEA region
- Prepare and coordinate documents necessary for the external audit process, ensuring smooth audit
- Support in managing internal and external audits to ensure timely compliance
- Reconcile differences between Statutory and US GAAP ledgers and perform year-end statutory closing activities
- Support financial statement approval and filing across EMEA countries
- Participate in financial consolidation process
- Contribute and provide advice to business change projects from finance perspective
- Oversee implementation of external legal changes and requirements projects resulting from local GAAP or US GAAP as needed
- Support month-end closings for selected entities (Control revenue, expenses, payroll entries and other accounting documents)
Profile
- Higher education in Finance and Accounting or similar
- More than 3 years of experience working in accounting and reporting
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and good knowledge of consolidation systems
- Fluent English
- Very good communication and analytically skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Strong attention to details
