For our Client, an international leading Provider of Aviation MRO services, we are currently searching for a experienced Manager, who will join its structure at the position of Start-up Manager Inspection and Repair dedicated to a new global office based in Wroclaw.
Being a part of global MRO Team (maintenance, repair and overhaul) located in Wroclaw, the person on this position will be mainly responsible for the Inspection and Repair department, the layout of the repair and inspection areas, including equipment, machines, tooling, shop fit-out, consumables. It will be essential to be responsible for capability planning, including ramp-up plan for inspection and repair as well as for machines networking – setting up IT solutions. Moreover, the Start-up Manager will be responsible for employees dedicated to the repair and inspection area, including job profiles, interviewing and selection of candidates, training requirements. The responsibilities will also involve work planning on two stages – startup/greenfield project and production stabilisation. You will be in charge of engine technology – CNC machines, repair areas and welding stations.
Our Client is seeking a person who has several years of experience with maintenance, repair, overhaul engines and supplying, maintaining production, manufacturing facilities and machines, as well as at least Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant major (e.g. Turbo-machinery Engineering, Aerospace Engineering). Good skills in test cell management, planning and technical equipment and installation are also essential to be a successful Candidate. Our Client is searching for a person who has good knowledge of project management and experience in development and realisation of modern service concepts. Due to multinational environment very good level of both spoken and written English is a must. Experience in aviation industry, particularly in engine maintenance services will be an advantage. To be successful in this role you should have leadership skills, intercultural competence and strong customer focus. Ideal Candidate should be decision-making and able to work under pressure.
