The Production Planner is a key function in the Global Planning Organization and ensures the timely delivery of medicines to patients at optimized costs. You coordinate the shipment plans with release departments to ensure the efficient release of intermediates and API.
• Schedule, coordinate and communicate the API shipment plan;
• Interact and collaborate with key stakeholders to schedule and ensure ongoing production planning activities;
• Lead and execute continuous improvement and business projects;
• Report key metrics;
• Communicate information on production plans and shipment requirements to different departments;
• Support change control activities from a planning perspective;
• Support the further deployment of the Advanced Planning System (OMP+) in terms of transportation.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant Supply Chain experience in Planning is required;
• Experience in using SAP and OMP+ is required;
• Experience or affinity with biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

• Coordinate the shipment plan with release departments to ensure the efficient release of intermediates and API, based on the Master Production Schedule and the Distribution Plan;• Schedule, coordinate and communicate the API shipment plan;
• Interact and collaborate with key stakeholders to schedule and ensure ongoing production planning activities;
• Lead and execute continuous improvement and business projects;
• Report key metrics;
• Communicate information on production plans and shipment requirements to different departments;
• Support change control activities from a planning perspective;
• Support the further deployment of the Advanced Planning System (OMP+) in terms of transportation.
Requirements
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or similar function;• A minimum of 2 years of relevant Supply Chain experience in Planning is required;
• Experience in using SAP and OMP+ is required;
• Experience or affinity with biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
