Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
This client is nationally known in the starches & sweets business and takes food development to the higher, technological level. Are you a food engineer looking for a new challenge? Then this could be the step for you.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Within this position, you strive to innovate the baked goods sector. With your inquisitive mind and curiosity, you aim for continuous improvement and never rest until the product delivered to the client is the best it can be. For this, you lead several projects and use your previous leadership experience to keep everything in line. Because of the multinational nature of the company, an open mind and flexible attitude are key in communicating with international stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Industrial test new products from lab to factory scales
• Develop the production processes
• Plan R&D activities and their execution
• Researching new products in coordination with QA, Marketing and other segments
• Managing stakeholders
• Reporting to the R&D director and board with your findings
• Globally cooperating with other R&D segments
REQUIREMENTS
• MSc Food engineering or similar
• 5+ years of R&D development experience
• Fluent English, Dutch and French
• Strong will, ambitious, driven and curious personality
• Good software knowledge
