For our Client international company which expanding operations in Cracow we are looking for Candidate who is ready for new challenges and has willingness to take part in building new company structure as a SOX testing Expert- Team Leader.
As a SOX testing Team Lead you will analyse the financial reporting risks for the processes for the assigned reporting unit to direct the testing performed by the co-sourced testing partner (selecting which processes and controls to test under a risk-based rotational testing approach, providing direction on application of testing methodology), will you be the Key point of contact for the assigned reporting units for all testing matters and with the external auditor for the controls where they place reliance. You will be responsible for reviewing of and detailed involvement in discussion and agreement of significant risk and control issues raised by SOX Testing Team (those reported to the SOX Controls Issue Discussion Group), including review of results and ensuring that the issues are correctly reflected (rating and facts) in the Risk and Control Engine (RACE), to support the Issue Discussion Group’s assessment of the residual risk at Group level.
The Ideal Candidate should have at least Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting and 6 or more years of experience in related field. Fluent command of English required as well as significant knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes and controls or Audit and Previous experience in managing global/regional audit or internal controls. Experience in SOX or having worked in a SOX environment together with a professional qualifications in Accountancy, Finance or Audit - such as CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA or CISA is an advantage
