Social Media Editor
Location: BratysławaThis work is remote but preferable location is Warsaw or Bratislava.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Do you enjoy managing and serving online communities? Are you a stickler for grammar? Do you have an excellent eye for detail and aesthetics? Do you have an enthusiasm for editing text, photos, and videos for online audiences?
The purpose of the Social Media Editor is to manage and serve NATEK’s online communities on such platforms as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other respective of the market, while obeying NATEK brand guidelines and, in particular, its tone of voice.
The Social Media Editor is expected to source, plan and edit posts to promote NATEK’s job opportunities and company’s events, initiatives and other editorial content to audiences on its main social media channels
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily management of selected social media channels – posting, monitoring and moderating discussions, responding to user enquiries
- Creation of social media content including photos, videos, gifs etc. in cooperation with the company’s graphic designer when necessary
- Delivery of new concepts and enhancement of current social media presence based on company events, employer branding and other Communication Dept. activities
- Market research and competitors analysis for emerging social platforms and technical solutions to be used on NATEK’s social channels
- Work with other business units to secure content that can be shared through the corporate channels
- Reporting on social media results
- Monitoring of reputational risks and managing social media crisis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent editing skills in Slovak + advanced English
- Min 1 year experience in managing various social media channels for a professional organization
- Demonstrable passion for social media, communities, blogs, and/or communication field
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills combined with outstanding consumer focus
- Creativity in respective area
- Knowledge of social media tools: editing, sharing, monitoring, advertising publication (Jive, CMS, HTML would be a plus)
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills: can work to strict publishing deadlines
- Ability to working remotely under time pressure
