Our Client is a well-recognized technology company. As the Gl Business Services (GBS) is being set up. The EMEA tax team is growing and transfer pricing is crucial at this stage of building a team.
Description
- Support the EMEA Transfer Pricing Manager in providing corporate tax and transfer which is associated with cooperating with pricing various industries and various European countries. Daily duties will be related to tax compliance and advisory services, VAT compliance and advisory, transfer pricing support, other tax-related support services).
- Collaborate in transfer pricing compliance process for UK, German, Italian, French, Greek, and Spanish, prepare and file country by country reporting notifications with tax authorities in the region and manage transfer pricing documentation for these and other group companies.
- Support the EMEA Transfer Pricing Manager in undertaking in-depth company, industry, and market research and designing financial models to analyze and price intercompany transactions for products and services.
- Support Manager in dealing with a country report, review the group's transfer pricing information and determine transfer pricing risks.
- Act as a contact person for all routine transfer pricing issues for the business in the region and support the corporate tax process, system reviews, and testing including assessment of tax risks.
- Support in identifying appropriate approaches and strategies for local entities in dealing with corporate tax and transfer pricing audits and controversies with local tax authorities.
Profile
- Educated in finance or ACCA, CIMA.
- Fluent English.
- Experienced in multinational environment, finance, or other global functions.
- In-depth understanding of transfer pricing policies and methodologies, the "arm's-length principle" and business economics; understanding of international tax issues.
- Effective Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel), knowledge of benchmarking databases such as Orbis and TP Catalyst, and ideally also of SAP.
- Proactive, team- and detail-oriented working style along with solid interpersonal abilities and strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written; languages in addition to English advantageous.
