For our Client, Shell Polska, we are looking for an experienced logistics expert for the position of Senior Supply Operations Specialist who will join the Supply Operations team - the execution arm of the Fuels Trading & Supply Organization in Poland.
Senior Supply Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring robust operations with fuel terminals, running complex safety assurance and performance management agenda as well as supporting partner functions to resolve relevant operational issues. The position is also responsible for managing regulatory compliance of fuel movements with finance/legal departments and execution of respective reporting. The role involves preparation and smooth process execution of supply scenarios in SAP ERP System, and runs structured initiatives to continuously improve operational excellence.
Scope of responsibilites on this position includes developing and maintaining excellent relationship with Fuel Terminal Operator, Fuel vendors and Cross-border Trader Points. The hired person will also run safety assurance agenda, organize, attend and follow up terminal audits as well as run contract performance reviews with 3rd Party Supply Points and Fuel Vendors. On the other hand, this positionis in charge of following regulatory compliance changes for fuels (Bio-mandate, Compulsory Stock Obligation, CO2 reduction) and other emerging requirements - scope of responsibilities contains developing, implementing and maintaining regulatory reporting activities, jointly with internal stakeholders (Legal / Corporate Finance / Shell Business Operations) and liaising with external regulatory bodies. Senior Supply Operations Specialist will work closely with Hydrocarbon Sourcing and Truck Scheduling team (Krakow) to ensure fulfillment of the supply contracts and service level agreement to the Marketing (Retail) businesses, and maximize margin delivery of the supply chain.
We are looking for a logistics expert with at least 5 years of experience in supply operations / management position in oil industry/fuels supply chain as well as excellent external stakeholder management and communication skills. Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the fuel industry and reporting is an advantage as well as experience with SAP ERP system. The ideal Candidate possesses tactical supply chain management knowledge and terminal operations as well as Product Quality management awareness. To succeed in this role, the hired person must present ability to work in international environment (partially virtual) and commercial acumen as well as focus on delivery and ability to perform multitasking activities. Fluent English and Polish, driving license cat. B and higher education (master degree, preferably ineconomics or logistic) is essential.
