We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Senior Software Engineer Java
Key Accountabilities:
- Analyze and propose solutions based on business requirements,
- Efficiently translate these requirements into working software,
- Amend and produce specifications/documentation as required,
- Investigate live system faults, diagnose problems, propose and provide solutions,
- Complete projects in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- University or Technical College graduate (preferable in IT) followed by at least 3 years of programming experience,
- Good knowledge of or working experience with:
- Java 8, NodeJS,
- AngularJS, JavaScript, CSS, JSON,
- Spring Framework,
- Clean Code Principles, Java Design patterns,
- BDD/TDD, Continuous Integration,
- Web UI development and testing,
- Good understanding of English is essential,
- Experience in Agile type methodologies will be an advantage,
- Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must,
- Interest in APIs is an advantage,
- Good interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work in changeable environment,
- Curiosity and learning capabilities,
- Understanding of authentication and authorization standards like SAML token & OAuth2,
- Experience in any one of the listed ones Backbase, Mulesoft is an advantage.
