Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include developing of turning prototyped computer vision algorithms into high quality product ready code, designing and providing strategies for optimising computer vision algorithms for different systems and platforms, participating and providing input in project code reviews, receiving general instructions new projects or assignments, designing and/or reviewing architected modules and software systems supporting new technology or improving capability/performance of existing functionality, taking responsibility for communicating with different engineers (embedded systems, backend server, computer vision) to continuously improve and optimize implemented algorithms, creating automated software tests and providing support to trouble shoot software issues when needed, keeping a documentation of software architecture, working on deep learning and classic algorithms and developing them, improving performance and developing image processing.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong C++11 and above programming skills and ability to write clean code
Experience with computer vision libraries
Minimum 2 years experience with image processing or similar field
Communicative level of English language
General knowledge about algorithms and data structures
Basic understanding of computer vision; key areas of interest include at least 2 of the following:
object detection, tracking and recognition, multiple view geometry, OCR detection, camera calibrations, 3D data processing, Deep Learning
Parallelised & vectorized computation (using SSE/AVX/NEON instruction set)
Ability to execute work independently
GPU programming experience using CUDA or Open CL is a plus
