THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Netherlands.
They are a large multinational with multiple production sites across the world. You will be working in an international environment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role of production planner you create the production planning for multiple products in multiple production sites. This is done in a large team of colleague production planners for both a short as a mid term period. You do this to ensure best possible customer service and continuously optimise cost and inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the production planning of various products. These are produced in different locations across Europe. You will be assisting a team of multiple production planners and together you create the best possible customer service level. This planning is done for both the short term (1 week) and mid term (36 months). To work this job efficiently, intensive contact between physical logistics, operations and other stakeholders is of utmost importance. As the spill between market and production plant you help continuously improve the planning.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or different but relevant
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong communication skills (In English as well)
- Preference towards JDEdwards workability
