The Tech Product Management sits within the Tech (Information Technology Team) and is a key role, connecting the Business and Tech Organisation. For their set domain, the Tech Product Manager will seek to maximise Value to the organisation through use of technology. This will be achieved through the development of Tech (Information Technology) Vision, Strategies and Roadmap for the determined area of focus. Ultimately these are delivered through the commissioning of projects and services from tech.

Your new role

• Develop Tech (Information technology) Strategies, Roadmaps and Plans which drive Business performance in the introduction of new Medicinal Products (NPI), with a particular focus on activities that can significantly increase the throughput of NPI
• Mange Tech “problem statements”, ideas, EPICs and backlogs and mature into detailed prioritised roadmaps and business cases for delivery.
• Tech Leadership to ensure that new products are introduced from R&D into Global Supply Chain supported with Information technology to support "fit for Supply", "fit for Distribution and Storage", "fit for Sale" and fit for Medical Professional and Patient use
• Partner with many other product and project areas within Supply Chain Tech and beyond, such as Planning, Warehousing and Logistics, MDM, IDMP, R&D Tech product teams, Artwork and Packaging, Data and Analytics to influence and align NPI needs into product roadmaps.
• Development of the Tech model for new therapy area such as Cell and Gene Therapy, where newly configured supply chains will be needed to support this emerging demand.
• Support Tech improvement across all phases of product launch including pilot plant production, Named Patient use, Emergency Use Authorisation, Marketing Authorisation
• Address key themes such as process standardisation and process repeatability and resilience, simplification of data transfer and standardisation and improve availability, seek opportunities to improve efficiencies sand reduce cost in the NPI process through atomisation
• Lifecycle management of all data and knowledge required to bring a product from development into commercial production and distribution and which can be re-integrated back to R&D for medicinal product improvement
• Support Integrated management of Regulatory reporting requirements including IDMP 
• Support the building of E2E business process, systems, and data maps to identify key problem areas, bottlenecks are opportunities for improvement – applying simplification, automation and systems to improve process performance.

What you'll need to succeed
Basic Qualifications: 

• 5+ years experience operating in Tech Product Management or similar roles partnering with senior tech and business leaders to drive business, value focused outcomes
• 5+ Experience within the Biopharma, FMCG, or any other industry operating in business facing Tech functions
• Experience in improving the Performance of New Product Introduction through the application of Technology

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience of applying Digital Data Analytics technologies
• Building and Delivering solutions using Agile methodologies.
• An excellent communicator, capable of driving significant business value through technology
• You’ve led teams that have developed successful software products from concept to adoption -
• Experience of building Vision and Strategy - specifically in the domain of New Product Introduction and / or PLM
• You have experience of working within a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders to manage
• You’ve set a vision and a strategy and associated success criteria for your product area
