Senior Procurement Specialist
Location: Kingdom of the NetherlandsThe Company
The company has a Biotech and Pharmaceutical operations site. They are one of the biggest innovative companies in the Netherlands and they are specialized in vaccines, biological therapies and medicines.
Role description
You will manage both indirect and direct processes of the business. You will be in contact with different stakeholders and support the site’s operating objectives, ensuring that procedures and processes are securely established.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic business partners to drive reliability of supply and cost reductions
- Execute strategic procurement projects
- Process the applications in order to purchase equipment
- Write tenders
- Guide the bidding process and propose offers
- Maintain good relationships with the suppliers in the biotech industry
- You will manage both indirect procurement (75%) and direct procurement (25%) processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Procurement related area (preference for chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering)
- Experience with both indirect and direct procurement
- Site procurement experience at a production company
- Experienced in strategy development and execution. You know how to work with all levels of business customers in a highly dynamic environment.
