We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Senior Portfolio Service Manager
Location: Cracow
Key Accountabilities:
Building relationships with the PPM community and be seen as the go-to person for all things related to the Portfolio and the way projects should be run and advise on dilemmas regarding projects etc.
Regular reporting and tracking across key projects, programme & portfolio across group for various committees and mgt meetings
Maintaining adherence and compliance to Technology / internal governance standards and requirements across portfolios
Managing stakeholders and creating / maintaining good working relationships and be seen as trusted advisor
Provide challenge and advice to Mgt team heads and PPM on project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, inter-dependencies, full SDLC life cycle
MI & decks to be produced around financials, headcount, time analysis, programme/project deliveries, RAID etc.
Produce Project management metrics on portfolio
Work with team to construct meaningful scorecards for each member of the mgt team as appropriate and relevant governance forums / steercos and adopt what is already in existence
Ownership and maintenance of global sharepoint and standardisation
Work with Portfolio Management & team to improve processes and continuing seek efficiency in all we do.
Requirements:
Experience within Financial services within IT department or IT consultancy company
Prior experience as a PMO with significant Experience of producing high quality MI decks to tight deadlines
Previous experience of working and servicing global distributed teams and understanding global issues
PMO or Business Management experience within IT
Good understanding of Project Management methodologies / approaches (i.e. Prince2, Agileand full appreciation of SDLC)
Strong project quality assurance review experience
Strong Excel (Pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint experience, (Mandatory) - Access (Desirable)
Sharepoint experience
Familiarity with Project management application packages such as Clarity, (Planning tools - OpenWorkbench, MS Project)
Strong PMO experience with evidence of achievements throughout career
Analytical analysis, data mining & scenario modelling experience
Experience of project management processes and delivery
Highly organised individual
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong communicator able to express ideas via various communication channels
Ability to investigate items in detail and provide high level commentary and understanding on findings to mgt
Ability to step back and look to improve processes and efficiency,
Ability to work with information from various systems and make sense of data and to express clearly with assumptions used.
Self starter and ability to take on responsibility with minimal supervision.
Prior experience as a PM with real life delivery experience
Strong planning and financial management experience at project, program & Portfolio level
