Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist

  • Cooperation with an outsourced payroll provider to calculate salaries for over 750 employees in Poland;
  • Responsible for overall payroll process, from data collection stage to reporting stage;
  • Supporting and guidance for junior payroll staff members in all aspects of payroll and benefits tasks;
  • Entering and verifying accuracy of data;
  • Cooperation with benefit providers;
  • Retaining documentation regarding benefits for employees;
  • Cooperation with ZUS, Tax Office and other institutions, as necessary;
  • External and internal audits coordination;
  • Support for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits;
  • Processing working time records on payroll (absences, holidays, overtime);
  • Preparation of information and reports in English for the Accounting Department and HR headquarters;
  • Ability to handle external and internal ad hoc requests (reporting, additional tasks, additional analysis);
  • Participate in global projects related to the Payroll & Benefits area;
  • Working as part of our Payroll/Benefits Team and providing back up cover for absences within the wider European Payroll Team.
  • Experience in similar Payroll/Benefits/Administration position;
  • Experience with staff management will be an advantage;
  • Practical knowledge of Polish labor law, tax law and social insurance law;
  • Good knowledge of English written and oral;
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite in particular Excel;
  • Knowledge of Workday will be an advantage;
  • Strong Interpersonal, Organizational, Problem solving and Analytical skills required;
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
  • Knowledge of other European payrolls will be an advantage.
