- Develop a strategy for the Serum Work Area (SWA) domain, in collaboration with the other SWA product managers and the product manager Work Flow & IT. Taking into account market trends, competition, government and new influential stakeholders.
- Create and annual action plan together with the Sales and Medical team.
- Describe medium and long-term objectives.
- Develop an internal and external communication plan.
- Gather and analyze data and/ or business metrics to make critical decisions; shares insights with partners and recommend innovative solutions
- Utilize data sources to review key metrics such as market trends, customer segmentation and needs to sense and address organizational needs proactively.
- Follow and analyze the developments in the market and adapt the action plan and/or marketing strategy accordingly.
- Create a budget proposal for the marketing costs associated with the annual action plan. Discuss and align with the Marketing Director and the marketing team.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with global marketing and Pharma Team members and other possible stakeholders locally and internationally and openly exchange ideas
- Acquire, manage and make available all information related to the domain. Communicate all necessary information internally and ensure optimal alignment of internal stakeholders.
- Test the chosen strategy with the direct peers within Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access and Business Development in order to obtain maximum support and impact.
- Create and monitor campaigns. If needed adapt the campaigns by creating proposals to achieve the marketing and sales objectives or adjust the objectives.
- Draw up the budget for the successful implementation of the campaigns. Report deviations and adjust where necessary.
- Measure the results against the objectives described in the strategic marketing plan.
- Prepare marketing materials for magazines.
- Analyse opportunities in the SWA market, including new reagent releases and translate this to financial goals for the next year in the planning process.
- Take a leading role in the planning process.
- Cooperation in the preparation of tender offers - supervising the preparation of the tender offer from the product side, completing up-to-date product leaflets and quality certificates, providing scientific and didactic materials
- Joint customer visits with other company representatives
- Cooperation with Key Clients and Opinion Leaders
- Supervision over the consideration and acceptance of quality complaints submitted by clients
- Report customer activities in Rexis/Salesforce
- Organize or participate in conferences/meetings with customers related to SWA
- Manage product samples and demo systems
- Partially drive the transition from only product support to strategic marketing.
- Acts as an informal leader / coach for other product managers.
- Completed Master's degree in a direction relevant to the position
- Knowledge of business economic and organizational aspects is a plus
- Knowledge of new trends in healthcare, such as value-based healthcare and the possible implementation
- 5-7 years proven experience in a marketing position and demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategies and tools, and their applicability
- Demonstrated commercial experience in the field of account management or product management
- Demonstrated experience in project management and being able to navigate in a complex, multicultural and matrix environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence with courageous authenticity and build trust with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to cope with time pressure in demanding situations.
