For our client, we are looking for Senior Java Software Engineer
The position is based in Kraków, Poland
Job Description
- Working on a behavior-driven development based platform
- Providing an automation test suite and framework to run automated new features testing, regression
- and smoke testing
- Ensuring the possibility of writing new automated test cases without writing new code by using behavior driven approach
- Participating in software development life cycle of web systems and applications
- Designing, developing, analyzing, reviewing the code and planning of revisions of platforms and APIs
- Debugging and making enhancements to existing applications
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Java
- Very good understanding of data structures, client-server architecture and design patterns
- Experience with Linux command line
Nice to have:
- Understanding of Acceptance Test Driven Development with behavior-driven development tools (for example Cucumber)
- Practical knowledge of RPC, REST, UI AWT, Dependency Injection frameworks
