Who are we looking for
Capitalizing on our success, we are growing our multitalented team bigger and stronger, and today we are looking for a motivated Senior Java Developer to take ownership of a unique set of projects related to Machine Learning. Projects include building and testing new models as well as improving existing models and researching for future developments.
Remote office and close collaboration
As a Senior Java Developer you will be a part of our development team in Poland. The team consists of seasoned professionals with practical experience in big data and machine learning development. We do not have a physical office - and we love it! It lets us all work from home while enjoying the fact that we can work where we live instead of living where we work. We developed excellent communication methods that enable swift collaboration and effective sharing of knowledge, and create an awesome atmosphere!

Wymagania
Minimum Requirements:
- Min. 5 years experience in software development
- Proficient in SOLID and OOP concepts and design patterns
- Able to program parallel (multithreaded or distributed) systems
- Practical understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Strong understanding of relational databases and big data
- Proficient in working within the Linux environment
- Practical experience in designing / programming large systems
- Knowledge of the principles of functional programming
- Experience in developing microservices
- Full proficiency in Java 8, Spring, ORM (Hibernate), XML, JSON,
- REST, Nginx, Git, Maven, Jenkins
- Communicative level of English
Nice to have:
- Experience as a data scientist or data analyst
- Practical knowledge of Python, Scala
- Experience in processing large volumes of data
- Understanding and practical usage of NLP (Natural Language Processing), Machine Learning, Apache Spark, Hadoop
Tasks include:
- Developing AML (Anti-Money Laundering) platform
- Constructing tools for text analysis
- Building the necessary components to integrate with clients’ systems
- Test and develop deep-learning networks for whole-text analysis
