We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Senior Java Developer
Kraków
Key Accountabilities:
Provide software engineering skills, including use cutting edge technologies to support growing client needs. Participate in building scalable, full stack Cloud–based offerings. Stay up–to–date with technical trends in the industry. Work in agile methodology with Krakow and London based teams.
Requirements:
Experience on Java & Spring framework, spring boot
Knowledge on API-led connectivity
Knowledge on micro service architecture
Knowledge on cloud development
Strong database skills (Oracle, SQL Server)
Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
A high level of motivation, quick to learn
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Tools/frameworks – Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus, Liquibase, Mockito, Wiremock
Test automation – Junit, Selenium, cucumber
Cloud – Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, Mulesoft – nice to have
Containerizing tools: Kubernetes and Docker – nice to have
Agile Tooling – Jira, Confluence
Lean and Agile methods of software delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, XP, BDD, ATDD and TDD)
Basic Linux/Unix OS knowledge
Overall understanding of IT technologies and how those work
Fluency in English
Work in Agile/Scrum
Ability to absorb new technologies and procedures very quickly
Prior working experience in a bank or a financial institution will be an advantage but not a must
Ability to work in complex environment with lots of dependencies on other teams
