You will join our Client, an international, globally well-known company, that is opening the new office in Poland, Warsaw.

Your new role

As Senior IT Supporter, you will be part of Group IT, HQ and will work closely with a broad variety of stakeholders. You will have a key role in supporting the IT agenda in Group IT across countries and regions in one of the world’s largest organizations. The successful Senior IT Supporter will be an excellent communicator that finds innovative ways to improve the customer experience. You will hold service owners accountable to resolve issues on behalf of your customers driving to root cause. 

  • Be responsible for the overall local IT set-up
  • Define infrastructure and application requirements for the HQ hub with support of project manager in Europe
  • Define IT set-up requirements with support of project manager in Europe
  • Provide end user support for applications and operating systems such as O365, VPN, mobile devices, and common collaboration services such as SharePoint and Exchange
  • Work closely with internal team members and support teams, but also external partners and providers across various projects
  • Coordinate a variety of projects in a highly operational environment. E.g. coordinate procurement of hardware as per company policies
  • Work with engineering teams to plan the support of new tools and services while improving the level of support provided for existing tools and services
  • Respond to inquiries, escalations, and establishing partnerships with service owners
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years experience in a large enterprise client support team (IT helpdesk, service desk support preferred)
  • Understanding of enterprise IT systems such as Microsoft (Exchange, O365, workstation and server class OSs ) and Active Directory, as well as exposure to a wide variety of technical products and issues
  • Strong communication and business acumen and the ability to ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction
  • Proven record in team management
  • Robust with strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Practical experience as SCCM user
  • Basic understanding of local area network (user access switches, WIFI etc.)
