Senior IT Specialist (m/f)
As the Senior IT Analyst, you will be responsible for all local IT activities to ensure effect business operations. You will be the primary support for local applications and local infrastructure responsibilities. You will collaborate with a global IT team which will provide support and technician specialists to assist you in this role.

Our client is an international manufacturing company belonging to the world-renowned Capital Group, according to the dynamic development is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Specialist in the area of technical IT management.
Description
- Help the local business team through changes related to the IT environment
- Managing local IT Team, managerial skills desired
- Work closely with the local teams to ensure the production and the activities are running properly, and look for opportunities to improve
- Maintain and support the critical local IT applications, including the MFG Pro ERP system, used to run the business
- Lead assigned projects to drive operational and/or IT improvements
- Meet with local leadership and management on needs issue priorities
- Provide advanced technical support and resolutions, primarily at a 2nd level
- Provide immediate technical support and resolutions for highly complex environments (i.e. shop floor), after business hours, as necessary
- Execute defined client computing life cycle processes including PC ordering, deployment, and lease refresh within defined performance metrics
- Assist with support of network, server and business infrastructure
- Perform root cause analysis to eliminate reoccurring incidents
- Purchase software, hardware, and services using standard procedures
- Install technology hardware and software that fulfill user requests according to standards or requirements
- Manage hardware assets and software licenses (i.e. Microsoft) using standard policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned operational duties
Profile
- University or similar degree and several years of successful working experience in managing an IT function preferably in the industrial area
- Proven managerial skills
- Experience in working in an international team and matrix structure
- 4+ years of proven experience with large manufacturing (multi-national) operations
- A high level functional and technical working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8), Microsoft Office Suites (2007, 2010, 2013) and Microsoft Software (SharePoint, Lync, Visio)
- Ability to assess and resolve complex ERP and application problems, issues, and risks
- Demonstrated experience with support for major ERP projects and support (MFG Pro, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience developing comprehensive, robust and quality technical solutions
- Willingness to learn new software products
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment to meet deadlines
- Positive, self-directed, and self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish
- Experience with an ERP system (MFG Pro, MS Dynamics AX) will be appreciated
