Currently, due to their further growth and the need to strengthen audit and insurance functions, they are seeking to recruit an experienced and ambitious individual for a newly-created position of Internal Auditor in Warsaw or in Silesia.
Job description
- Carry out planned and commissioned internal audits, alone or as a member of the audit team.
- Prepare reports of audits conducted in accordance with accepted internal standards.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
- Participate in the process of planning audits.
- Create and update mapping of risk areas that help to identify existing risks within the company.
- Evaluate controls and risk management procedures in terms of their adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Propose solutions aiming at reducing risk levels.
Profile description
- University degree in economics, finance or banking.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in audit gained within insurance industry or Big 4 company or in auditing insurance sector companies.
- Actuarial qualifications will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of process management, mapping, modelling and optimization of business processes.
- Very good knowledge of financial markets and issues related to the accounting and finance concepts.
• Understanding of internal control requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and presentational skills
• Effective project and time management skills.. Excellent communication skills (interaction with the senior management).
Self-motivation and capability of working both individually and as a member of a team.
- Very good command / fluency in English and Polish (both written and verbal) is a must.
