Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
With several production sites and sales offices throughout Europe they are a widely known brand within the food industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
For the role of Senior Demand Planner you will join to the demand planning team on this location to ensure the planning of multiple countries. This requires you to be both flexible, due to the various departments you have to work with and also have a strong personality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the demand planning for various European countries together with your colleagues. Among the ‘basic’ tasks such as analyzing sales forecasts and leading the S&OP processes you will have a large focus on improving the forecast reliability. Also you will be responsible for :
- Working alongside with Sales to improve current knowledge of demand forecasts
- Improving and implementing better forecasting methods to increase reliability
- Asking the ‘why’ question to fully understand certain planning motives
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
- 3-5 Years of (demand)planning experience
- The ability to communicate with various layers and departments within a company
- Fluent in both Dutch and English with a preference towards German as well
