For our Client, a global technology company, we are looking for candidates for the position of Senior Help Desk Manager to join the team based in Warsaw.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for
- People management (recruitment, performance management, competency management, conflict management, overtimes, salary changes, bonuses) of 4-6 direct reports and 90 indirect reports
- People development through appropriate initiatives and employee engagement
- Business management (costing/quotations, invoicing, cost control, team capacity)
- Escalations (escalation point above each Team Leader)
- IT fulfilment (hardware and software orders, access rights, supervision of employees on/off boarding)
- Maintenance of customer satisfaction and service delivery levels through effective activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years manager level experience gained in an international environment, managing multi-function teams
- Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
- Utilisation of ERP systems (Oracle knowledge is a distinct advantage)
- Knowledge of services/technologies such as Linux, Cloud, Active Directory
- Ability to maintain a high degree of focus on results, through continuous review and accurate and timely reporting and analysis
- Strong customer service focus, ability to resolve conflicts and act as the escalation point for the team
- High sense of urgency
- Knowledge of order entry and/or logistics is an advantage
