Senior General Ledger Accountant - new SSC!
Our client, a global company with a newly established SSC unit in Warsaw, is currently looking for an experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their team!

Our Client is an international bio-science company, with a new SSC unit in Warsaw, Poland. They are famous for their eco-friendly approach to business.
Description
- Collect, analyse and summarise accounting information
- Oversee accounting operations based on accounting principles
- Develop periodic reports for management
- Help with meeting statutory deadlines for publishing the financial statements
- Calculating taxes and preparing tax returns, balance sheet, profit & loss statement
- Responsible for managing fixed assets
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations such as fixed assets, prepaid costs, accrued payroll, accrued costs, provisions, deferred income, etc.
- Provide VAT reporting including SAT-F; reconciliation of VAT accounts & registers
- Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
- Manages external and internal audits
Profile
- Higher Education in Finance and Accounting or any other related field
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Proven experience in the field of General Ledger Accounting
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Self-reliance, ability to take the initiative
- Ability to make the right decisions when it comes to the company's functioning
