Senior Fullstack Developer (Java + React)
Location: KrakowTransformation & Digital department is currently c.350 people strong, based across 7 locations. Hong Kong, China, India, Poland, UK, USA and Canada. Most of our teams are co-located but some of our teams work across geographies. We love flexible working and self-organising teams and are enjoying new means of collaboration as part of the Bank's hybrid working strategy.
We are looking for a team of 6 people to join our Digital Technology team to accelerate the delivery of our asset matching portal (AMP), an application built on top of our digital hosting platform. AMP is a system to capture and share client investment interests and preferences across appropriate internal audiences within the Bank. The system supports the coordination of deal ideas and investor interests strategically and efficiently with enhanced control.
AMP is being developed in an agile way with the development team working closely with a business product owner and delivering functionality to production on a daily basis.
Everyone in our team does production support on rotation for a day per month, and everyone also releases code to production.
You don't need to have prior experience working for an investment bank. In fact, we'd love to hear from more people working outside banking to see if they can bring a twist to what we do and help us grow
our culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect the team to
- work closely with a Business Product Owner
- own the delivery,
- be proactive
- confirm/clarify requirements when they are not clear,
- to reach out to others when there are issues and to help drive the delivery.
- work across the whole of the delivery cycle including testing, releasing to production and support as the production environment is what our users see most.
