At their location in Noord-Brabant they focus on the packaging and distribution part of the drugs which are produced at their international sites. The packaging and distribution is supported by the Operations, Customer Service and Demand, Information Systems and Quality departments.
In this role you lead complex and novel projects, requiring development of innovative engineering techniques and procedures bringing the company's manufacturing capability to the next level. The right candidate will advance the design of superior products and services, enabling reliable and efficient manufacturing activities progressing towards best-in-class.
Your expertise and agile mindset will drive continues improvement to ensure accurate and precise execution. You are able to combine your expertise with our “biology first” philosophy and best in class processes, to differentiate the company and maximize our manufacturing capabilities. You will be empowered to search for disruptive ideas to develop new and novel industry leading technologies and processes.
Work with cross functional teams in research, process development, and manufacturing in developing best-in-class system or process modifications.
Support the operational business units in continuous improvements initiatives and ensuring delivery of reliable and efficient manufacturing processes
• You are responsible to lead the team of internal and external engineers during detailed engineering, construction and commissioning.
• You are accountable for the preparation & delivery of project related engineering documents by the process team from conceptual design to construction and commissioning
• You are responsible that engineering standards are applied, and the quality of the design is guaranteed.
Operations Engineering
• Work with cross functional teams in research, process development, and manufacturing in developing best-in-class system or process modifications.
Support the operational business units in continuous improvements initiatives and ensuring delivery of reliable and efficient manufacturing processes
• Work within the matrix organization to complete superior design and engineering solutions.
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• You will work together with the other disciplines and divisions to ensure continuous improvement of our engineering standards.
• You will work in a business environment that stimulates creativity and where entrepreneurship is encouraged
• Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience with 7+ years in operations / manufacturing environment.
• Experience in developing project management techniques.
• You are a team player as working together and finding solutions with the team is one of the key principles for successful projects.
• Direct experience with working in a regulated environment (GMP, OSHA, EPA).
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
• Usage of external insight enabling innovation to create value in process design.
• Familiarity with validation processes and protocols.
• Experience with packaging equipment.
