For IT Company located in Cracow, we are searching for Senior DBMS Developer.
Your new role
Working on this position you will deliver high quality, efficient, defect free Oracle database code, following the best practices and industry standards. Additionally, you will take a very involved role in the various agile activities, including leading planning and estimating sessions and reporting progress to their assigned project lead and/or project manager. Moreover, you will be in charge of lead design and code reviews and be accountable for the actions taken from these sessions, seeing them through to implementation as agreed. On a daily basis you will cooperate with Business Analysts to ensure that the design and testing approach meets business requirements and you will be involved in functional problem investigation, solution design and resolution. Working as a senior DBMS Developer you will utilize analytical skills with the tends to continuous improvement of the underlying software and processes around.
What you'll need to succeed
The role would suit a solid developer who is ready for a new challenge, and is willing to apply the correct technical solution for the required product, and all the implications of investigation, study and application this involves. In order to be relevant candidate you need to hold at least 3 years’ experience developing applications using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL. Oracle database full life cycle development experience including data modelling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, unit testing and support (Oracle 11g, 12c) and strong database design principles (normalisation, indexing and partitioning) are required. In order to be an ideal candidate you need to have experience with version control systems, e.g. SVN, Git and working knowledge of Linux operating systems and some exposure to shell scripting. Moreover, we are searching for candidate with agile frameworks, e.g. Scrum experience and Good spoken and written English.
