Senior Datawarehouse Test Engineer

The accepted Candidate will be appointed to pursue his/her long term carrier at EPAM Poland and will join a high profile project at one of our biggest client in Krakow where he/she will fulfill a Senior Test Engineer role covering responsibility to test DWH applications for our client. You will have to design test cases, create test scripts for our automated test framework, to execute them and to report the result to the team.

Requirements:

Must have:

·         Qualification in IT or equivalent

·         Strong post-qualification experience at minimum

·         Knowledge and experience of the following:

·         Good understanding of RDBMS architecture

·         Knowledge of RDBMS (like: Oracle, DB2, SYBASE, SQL) and concepts such as tables, relationships, integrity constraints, triggers, indexes)

·         PL/SQL coding experience

·         Solid experience in test automation / automated testing frameworks

·         Solid understanding of testing process, and various aspects/levels of testing

·         Unix/Linux

·         Familiar with the continuous integration concept

·         Open minded, can think out of the box, can resolve issues independently

·         Can define testing approach/strategy based on functional requirements

·         Good communication skills, good command of English language

·         Agile Development Experience

·         Strong documentation and diagramming skills

Nice to have:

·         Experience with data warehouse architecture, worked on the data   warehousing project

·         Experience with MIS solutions

·         Finance/investment banking
