For our strategic client (a fast growing gambling software house with clients on three continents) we are looking for:
Senior C Software EngineerMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
You will be responsible for:
- Implementing new features and standardized communication protocols, extending API, modularizing and decoupling large code base of gambling machines and slot games framework (C90 standard C project with SDL1 run on x86 systems under MS Windows and Linux)
- Helping colleagues developing a new gambling framework (C++, Qt, OpenGL) in tasks that require legacy code understanding and with systems integration issues
- Taking your part in a team effort of delivering the highest quality source code via code review
- Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation
What we expect of you:
- You must have at least 5 years of C programming experience in professional projects with large code base. The experience should be recent and preferably in projects for x86 platform
- You must be willing to work with legacy code with complicated architecture
- You must be fluent either in English or in Polish
- At least some knowledge of C++ is required (experience with Qt and/or OpenGL is an advantage)
- We work under MS Windows 7/10 and use Visual Studio, Qt Creator, Git, SVN, Jira, Confluence, Crucible, occasionally Ubuntu. You should either be familiar with those already or willing to adjust and catch up
- This offer is for experienced, senior-level software engineers only, not for juniors or developers working with completely different technologies
Employment conditions:
- Individually negotiable salary that depends on your requirements (around 17.000 – 25.500 gross monthly), skills and experience, B2B or standard contract
- Working hours: Mon-Fri, 8h a day with core hours: 10am-3pm
- Location: Al. Jerozolimskie – on-site only, remote work is not possible
