Senior C# Developer
Location: WrocławGRT is the strategic real time risk system replacing current systems to improving performance, flexibility and user experience. It is written in SCALA and Java and is part of Giraffe suite of applications. It uses number of services most notably highly scalable valuation cluster consisting of 1000+ of valuation nodes.
It is very challenging to be part of project that runs millions of requests per day in a cloud based system + investment banking experience.
Responsibilities:
- GRT UI frontend development (C# WPF),
- Gather requirements and implement new features / bug fixes in frontend components,
- Understand how Equity Real Time risk system works and what are the crucial components,
- Get familiar with terminology and basics of investment banking,
- Contribute to planning and retrospectives as part of global Agile team,
- Work closely with QA team and release manager based in Wroclaw.
Essential Skills:
- C# - minimum 5 years of experience,
- WPF knowledge is required,
- Unit / integration testing (TDD, BDD),
- Good problem solving & analytical skills,
- Knowledge & experience with Linux,
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
- Scala (or any JVM language) knowledge,
- Investment banking experience.
