For our Client, the international company in the construction chemical sector, specializing in the production of a wide range of professional building systems, we are looking for Purchasing Coordinator of direct (raw materials, packaging) and indirect categories.
The employed person will be responsible for management and procurement process of direct and indirect categories. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for coordination of purchasing activities, preparing and providing operational plan for procurement and budget of department. The Candidate will be managing and coordinating activities related to orders and purchases and ensuring the effective transfer of information to relevant co-workers.
The main goal will be negotiations with local suppliers of the contract terms and prices. The Candidate will build the strategy within procurement department, moreover, he will focus on cost optimization, cost avoidance and stock level of raw materials. The key task will be to focus on sourcing activities of suppliers dedicated to raw materials and also within services (indirect purchase). Therefore, the Candidate will analyze and monitor prices and market evolution of industrial goods and packaging, updating catalogue prices of materials and transport costs. The Candidate will report to Management and also cooperate with Global Procurement Team.
We are looking for Candidates with 2-3 years of professional experience on similar position. The knowledge of SAP system will be advantage, however it is not essential. Due to global structures, cooperation with Procurement team abroad, we are looking for a Candidate who can speak English on communicative level (B2).
