Currently, for our customer, we are looking for:

Senior Aviation Analysis Engineer - Reliability & Safety

Our client is the world leader in the design and manufacture of landing gears and landing systems for all types of civil and military aeroplanes and helicopters. Combining advanced engineering, proven expertise in systems integration and unrivaled capabilities in their markets our client delivers innovative solutions to more than 30 aircraft manufacturers and 3,000 commercial and military operators around the world, resulting over 35,500 landings per day.

Applications are now invited for the above position within our Systems Integration and Test Department.

The key activities:

  • Participate in systems architecture definition
  • Participate in technical reviews with suppliers and customers during the project life
  • Perform reliability and safety analysis and assessments of hydro-mechanical and electrical design
  • Perform reliability and safety analysis: Perform failure mode and effect analysis and fault tree analysis
  • Calculation of reliability and safety data
  • Problem investigation
  • Produce corresponding reports and documentation
  • Data collection on in-service events

 

  • You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Aerospace experience is preferable, however design and stress engineers from automotive, rail or other safety-critical industries can also be considered.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of mechanical systems an in-depth knowledge of performing FMEA, FTA and CCA. Have a practical application of ARP 4761 and ARP 4754. Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and aircraft systems.
  • A team player and innovative problem-solver with excellent communication skills, you will regularly liaise with customers and suppliers alike to ensure the teams achieve exacting results.
  • The ability to speak another language or have experience working overseas would be an advantage.
