For one of our Clients, a globally operating company from the life sciences industry, which is currently setting up a new SSC (start-up)in Warsaw city center, we are seeking Candidates for the position of SENIOR ACCOUNTING TEAM LEADER.
The SENIOR ACCOUNTING TEAM LEADERwill be responsible for managing a team of Specialists (AP or GL), supervising their work as well as supporting them operationally, solving complex issues and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, maintaining the best possible quality of service provided to the customer. Senior Accounting Team Leader will also be responsible for managing the transition of the process, incl. creating procedures, recognizing areas for enhancement and introducing improvements, as well as stabilizing the migrated process.
We are looking for Candidates with an Academic Degree in Finance or related area (recognized Accounting qualification e.g. ACCA will be an asset), who have approximately 3+ yearsof proven experience in people management, and several years of experience in operational work in AP or GL area, and experience in managing process transitionsin SSC environment. Fluency in English(working proficiency) is essential on this position, as well as familiarity with US GAAPand SAP system.
