For our Client - a fast growing and international company with a mixed production profile we are currently looking for (Senior) Accounting and Reporting Specialist.
Your new role
Scope of services will be going far beyond typical accounting processes, as those will be delivered by other partners. The main responsibilities of the team will be related predominantly with local accounting compliance.
In this role you will be responsible for following tasks:
Timely preparation of the annual financial statements according to local GAAP in various jurisdictions including Poland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, UK, Italy or Hungary Cooperation with external statutory auditors Timely submission of statistical and governmental reports Preparation and timely filling of VAT and Intrastat returns in various jurisdictions Calculation of deferred taxes and ensuring their proper presentation in financial statements Enhance knowledge on accounting matters and principles under US GAAP, IFRS and other local GAAP Interpret local accounting rules, IFRS and US GAAP in order to identify differences and properly issue accounting guidelines
What you'll need to succeed
Our perfect candidate should have accountancy experience with bachelor/master degree. You should have taken part in audits and have experience in preparing financial statements. Very important is to have experience in reporting VAT including government interactions and also:
- general knowledge of current and deferred income tax.
- knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- knowledge of SAP system
- fluency in English
