For our client, an International organization from medical devices and technologies industry, focused on development of innovative platform for surgery support, we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant.
Your new role
You will be responsible for establishing the internal accountancy and transferring the process from the external supplier, implementing accounting guidelines, direct participation in the accounting cycle, and preparing business unit financial documents/statements. The Senior Accountant will be the key person responsible for SAP S4 HANA implementation, will support the management in all financial and accounting issues in cooperation with the Group Director Accounting & Controlling, Director Finance International, and Director International Accounting. Other tasks in this role will include preparing documents for the financial audits, as well as communicating with the auditors, tax advisors, and tax authorities.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need to have a Bachelor’s Degree (finance, accounting, economy, or related field), demonstrated 5+ years of experience in Accounting, strong polish statutory knowledge, and you will need to have a basic knowledge of the US GAAP. Extensive knowledge of SAP and fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must. Ideal Candidate should be communicative, a team player, have excellent attention to detail, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience in an innovative industry will be an asset.
