HRK S.A. for a well-known manufacturing international company is looking for a candidate for the position:
Senior AccountantMiejsce pracy: Opole
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Coordinating and monitoring of all accounting aspects of the company's operations
- Providing support in preparing of financial accounts in line with local accounting standards, e.g. annual reporting
- Participating in process of tax compliance, e.g. support in preparation of monthly VAT reporting and corporate income tax
- Participating in compilation of statistics reporting according to local requirements
- Establishing of local accounting principles, practices, policies and procedures
- Ensuring the compliance with global guidelines, global process model, control framework and group reporting timelines
- Executing tasks as per defined in division, as a working partner, in cooperation with Shared Service Center teams
- Being involved in communication with local auditors, tax authorities and other officials, as well as with the internal stakeholders, e.g. Group Tax Services, Group Accounting and Reporting
- Coordinating the process changes, being support to different units of the company
Expected competences:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or other relevant field of education, preferred: Economics, Accounting, Finance or related.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience of similar type of accounting role including dealing with financial and numeric data
- At least good English language skills
- Excellent knowledge of local accounting requirements
- Knowledge of IFRS requirements is an advantage
- Experience in SAP, Hyperion is an advantage
- Teamwork abilities based on cooperation focussed on successful achievement
- High work motivation, proffesionalism, accuracy and an ability to keep deadlines
