Senior Accountant with German
As a Senior Accountant you be cooperating with local professional advisors, local affiliate Finance & Controllership teams, the International Tax group and Outsourcing partners to ensure that allocated legal entities are provided with appropriate Controllership support, and that all USGAAP, local statutory, legal, and fiscal obligations for each of the businesses are achieved.

Our Client is an international, well known company from FMCG sector. For their developing structures in Warsaw we are looking to hire experienced candidate for the role of Senior Accountant with German. This one of its kind offer that allows to work within accountancy and use German language on a daily basis.
Description
- Financial Accounting and Reporting for the EMEA legal entities with allocated responsibility, provide timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, working capital & legal forecasts, statutory accounts and Management reporting on a local GAAP & US GAAP basis.
- Ensure that internal controls are robust to enable timely detection of fraud and errors.
- Collaborate closely with the local professional advisors, local affiliate Finance & Controllership teams, the International Tax group and Outsourcing partners, to ensure the seamless integration of Tax and Financial accounting into the EMEA legal entities books.
- Ensure that all supported legal entities comply with all external (Statutes, law, fiscal, Local GAAP, US GAAP, SOX) and internal requirements.
- Ensure that adequate processes, controls and reports are in place to enable the business to manage Controllable Working Capital (Receivables, Deflator Accruals, and Other Accruals).
- Review and develop existing systems, tools and processes to ensure services provided to the business are efficient and cost effective.
- Manage the Annual Audit process to ensure efficient and timely completion and timely filing of all statutory reporting obligations.
- Cooperate with Finance & Controllership area and global management to support corporate initiatives. Proactively participate in the sharing of new/innovative practices that enhances efficiency and effectiveness.
Profile
- Degree in the area of Finance/Accounting and Management/Economy etc.
- At least 5 years of experience on similar position
- Experience in an accounting role with a Controllership focus
- Knowledge of languages: English and German on a very good level
- Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion is desirable
- Experience in cooperation with 3rd parties
