Senior Accountant with Czech/Slovak
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in managing accounting processes for Central & East European region with high focus on Czech and Slovak market.
Client Details
For our client, an international, well-known and established company we are looking for a Senior Accountant with Czech/Slovak. Our Client is one of the largest companies in the electronics sector and the most recognizable providers of its products in the market.
Description
- Performing a high level accountancy function in an international environment
- Managing GL to assure statutory accounting and reporting including preparation of statutory financials and group accounts
- Preparing for and facilitate annual statutory audits
- Assuring GL accounting and account reconciliations
- Performing month end / year end closing procedures according to strict process and time line
- Preparing tax returns (CIT / VAT)
- Assuring tax compliance according to local requirements
- Managing accrual accounting
- Providing input for cash pooling / treasury function
- Preparing and checking payment proposal
- Booking payroll following preparation by the outsourcer
- Executing and coordinating outsourced accounting processes such as P2P (purchase to pay) and R2R (record to report)
- Adhering and follow company regulations and processes, especially with regard to group accounting procedures, internal controls and SOX requirements
Profile
- Experience in international organizations
- Good knowledge of Czech tax regulations and Czech GAAP
- Very good English
- Very good Czech/Slovak
- Advanced Excel skills
- SAP knowledge will be an asset
