Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
The company of our client performs research and development in vegetables. Their brand continues to innovate their products and maintains a forward-thinking attitude. The R&D department maintains a high standard of breeding and seed technology. This department also works closely together with all the other departments in the company . Together these departments are the key stones of the company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Seed Technology Leader, you will be conducting several seed development projects for optimization of the varieties. This will include collaborating with various R&D departments within the organization. Having these responsibilities requires performance of the following tasks to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Close co-operation with Data, Breeding and Information specialists
• Prepare the seed enhancement programs for implementation
• Supervision of seed technology projects
• Improve and implement strategic plans for future varieties
• Seek opportunities to further improve seeds and technologies related to market needs
REQUIREMENTS
• PhD or MSc in Agronomy, Molecular Genetics, Crop Science or other related studies
• Between 3-5 years of commercial experience in the Crop science industry
• Strong writing and speaking skills in English, Dutch or other relevant languages
• Hands-on mentality to anticipate to the daily operations and strong team skills
