ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role of Seed/Plant disease specialist, within this organization you will focus on tests and assessments on a wide range of plant health/diseases. Furthermore, focus on innovation opportunities in the research centers. In these areas it is important to assess, process and conclude the actual test results for business partners and own research.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as Seed/Plant disease specialist you will need to showcase experience and knowledge in the following areas:
• Project management of samples
• Communication with field experts and breeders
• Focus on the development of result driven tests and formulate key areas to enhance performance
• Close collaboration with colleagues and business partners alike
REQUIREMENTS
To successfully fill this role as a Seed/Plant disease specialist, you should have the skills, attitude and behavior that follow:
• MSc or Bachelor in the area of plant science or relevant working experience
• Between 3-5 years of experience in the crops sciences in plant health/disease areas
• Strong plant, project management and research knowledge
• Fluent in English and Dutch is a must
• Proven communication skills and creativity
• Hands-on mentality to anticipate to daily operations
