For our global client we are looking for a Security Architect.
In this role, you will be part of the Information Security Resilience team who focus on ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability within Global Digital Space. You will be responsible for identifying security requirements in new projects and amendments to existing systems. You will also maintain an overview of security architecture and a view of digital resilience.
In this role you will:
You will have a good understanding of how modern companies leverage technology and data to drive the business and have a strong security mindset. You are comfortable working across multiple teams and can find simple solutions in complex environments and communicate them effectively. You are as passionate about information security and keep up to date with emerging risks and trends. You are proactive, positive and an advocate for continuous improvement in information security with the ability to manage multiple projects successfully and with a highly analytical and detail oriented work style

In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the security components of the Enterprise Architectural model
- Review project proposals, define security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain security architectural design documentation
- Support post incident review process and establish where changes or improvements are required.
- Liaise with privacy & compliance teams to ensure that legislative and policy requirements are met at the technical level

To succeed in this role you will have some of the following:
- A relevant degree in IT, information security or security risk management
- Demonstrable experience in security architecture in large companies
- Able to critically review proposals, identify potential security gaps and provide recommendations to mitigate
- Excellent communication skills
- Ambition – you will be expected to drive security architecture within the information security resilience team
- Experience with cloud and on-prem security models
- A thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems, as well as best practice security products
- Ability to work with risks and provide reporting
