For our Client, international e-commerce company which will locate its IT structure in Kraków, we are currently looking for a Candidate’s interested in the position of Scrum Master.
Your new role
As Scrum Master you will be responsible for facilitating the full cycle of development activities using Scrum methodology. You will facilitate efficient daily coordination of Product Owners and Development teams. You will play an active supporting role to the Product Owner, especially with refining and managing the product backlog.
You will bring visibility and transparency to the team on business goals and to the business on Scrum teams’ deliverables and challenges. You will act as a change agent and a facilitative leader to deliver value quickly whilst driving Agile maturity and innovation approaches across teams.
Working across a global matrixed business, facilitating co-operation across roles / functions and removing barriers and impediments to achieve productivity and continuous improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Candidate you need to have experience in facilitating technology projects in Agile methodology and strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Lean principles (flow, continuous improvement, respect for people). You should have a good understanding and ability to advise the team on engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Deployment, Pair/Mob programming, Agile Testing, DDD. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Confirm highest priority stories have been fully groomed and ready for sprint planning
- Capture team members capacity for upcoming sprint
- Facilitate the sprint ceremonies
- Capture, track and remove impediments, risks and dependencies until resolution
- Finalize and distribute the sprint-based report (tracking metrics and charts)
- Updates the team improvement backlog with commitments for the retrospective, maintains the continuous improvement culture
- Update the current release plan based on completed stories and changes from the sprint
- Review the backlog depth with Product Owner in preparation for future releases planning activities
- Schedule and facilitate release planning session for future releases based on the team’s cadence
- Keeps the team in sync with other developments (Scrum of Scrums).
What you'll need to succeed

- Knowledge about various Agile techniques and processes: writing good user stories (splitting, sizing, estimating), facilitating retrospectives, backlog management, release planning
- Experience with Agile project management tools; JIRA, Version One or Rally
- Ability to formulate “Value proposition”, how to demonstrate the ROI of the solution
- Previous Scrum master experience for a software engineering team
- Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing
