ABB Corporate Research Center in Krakow, Poland wishes to appoint a Specialist in Electronics to join its Sensors, Electronics & Connectivity research team. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for industrial applications using cutting-edge tools and methodologies, in line with current and future technology trends such as the Internet of Things, Services and People.
Zadania :
- The activity of the post will be to perform applied research and technology development in the area of robust electronics and low power embedded platforms for industrial applications.
Wymagania:
- Candidates should have an internationally recognized degree at least at masters level (or equivalent) in Electronics, Physics, Computer Science or similar;
- Practical knowledge of analog and digital circuits simulation and design;
- Knowledge of embedded platform architectures;
- Experience with laboratory equipment, prototyping and testing;
- Strong command of English language and excellent communication skills;
- Proactive, motivated and open-minded, results oriented team player.
It would also be advantageous to have experience in:
- Development of C/C++ applications for embedded systems;
- Experience with hardware life time testing (ALT, HALT);
- Knowledge of wireless communication (BLE, 6LoWPAN…).
