Scala Developer / Data Engineer
… to join IT /Product Development Department and use technologies, as Web Api, CQRS, EventBroker, RavenDB, Nhibernate, Hadoop, MongoDB, MVC (also .NET or MSSQL), securing the desired levels of maintainability and complexity indices. Build applications with Angular, tame the CSS and maintain the appropriate LINT image of apps and use such tools as Selenium or iMacros.
Key functions:
- Creating systems, architectures and proposing own innovative solutions
- Implementing predictive models in working production systems
- Developing Big Data system in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
- Working in R&D style environment with automation thanks to which you can effortlessly deploy changes to production several times a day
- Working in real Scrum Team in 1-2 week sprints; the team consist of Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Data Scientists and Developers
- Having real influence on what tools the team will use in the project
- Cooperating with Data Scientists in Machine Learning projects
Experience / Qualifications required:
- Very good knowledge of Scala (Spark and Java as a plus)
- Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL
- At least 1 year of commercial experience with Big Data solutions
- Experience with Cloud solutions (preferably Azure)
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Debian / Ubuntu
