Location: Warsaw, Ochota
Salary: 100 - 130 PLN/h + VAT
The SAS Developer will provide statistical programming leadership and expertise in implementing complex SAS applications to accomplish business goals. The developer will establish technical standards and enforce best practices for delivering high quality enterprise solutions to ensure a consistent, reliable implementation of the risk engine. This includes interfacing with business stakeholders and assisting in critical production incidents. In addition, this position will be an advocate for good software engineering practices establishing strong support for technology standards.

The SAS Developer will provide statistical programming leadership and expertise in implementing complex SAS applications to accomplish business goals. Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of SAS programs for assigned project(s), consistently meeting objectives of the project
- Development of applications designed to analyse and report complex computations on positions and market data
- Performing quality control checks of SAS code and output produced by other Statistical Programmers
- Analysis, development, testing and debug programming on assigned applications to satisfy business requirements for one or more business areas while creating thorough documentation
- Handling enhancements and user requested changes
- Working closely with build engineer and system administration teams at various stages of application development
- Adhere and contribute to proper IT SDLC procedures
- Working on issue resolution for production systems and providing level 2-3 production support
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant development life cycle experience in SAS applications development
- Solid understanding of SAS internal architecture and intimate knowledge of SAS reference tables
- Knowledge of Database platforms (Oracle and MS SQL)
- Experience in SAS Base/Datasets/Connect/Macros/Stored Procedures, SQL, relational data models and possess excellent data analysis skills
- Hands-on experience with implementation of market risk models or systems
- Knowledge of system architecture using SAS, ETL concepts and data quality controls
- Experience in creating quality guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Proven ability to help resolve issues for any application production problems
- Experience with financial data model
