Our client, a leading European company in the pulp and paper sector, is looking for a goal-oriented and proactive Sales Manager.

Mission
Manages sales of the company’s products within a defined geographic area or set of customers, ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through the identification of objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
Key responsibilities
- Cooperation with printers and sale of uncoated printing and writing paper and bleached eucalyptus pulp,
- Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels within the Group and at all levels within clients’ company: purchaser, indoor/outdoor sales people, marketing,
- Ability to keep abreast of the market, competition and customers, passing this information to the appropriate areas (IKAM, Sales Director, Marketing),
- To maintain regular contact with the customers to know about the market, solve problems and provide support,
- The need for the Sales Managers in the European markets to maintain a strong communication and dialogue with the IKAM, with regards to the negotiation of budgets for international customers,
- Performs sales activities for achievement of sales budget and targets within sales territory,
- Proposes sales improvements and new ways to approach actual and potential customers in sales territory,
- Develops and maintain new and existing customer relationships and ensure professional customer relationship management.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of commercial working experience on a similar position in print, paper, offset, packaging
- University degree, preferred,
- Focused and target-oriented sales professional with strong deal-closure mindset,
- Conflict resolution skill set, emphatic and problem solver,
- Negotiating and analytical skills,
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite ,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Very good command of English,
- Good command of other languages would be a plus,
- Driving licence.
