Evans Taylor has an exciting opportunity for a Country Manager to join their client based in Warsaw, with a highly competitive salary of PLN 250k to 300k plus car, bonus and benefits.

Part of a substantial £6.3 billion organisation and operating at the forefront of their industry, our client is one of the world’s largest fertilizer companies and provides end users and manufacturers on five continents with a wide range of high performance solutions.

This is an extremely exciting time to be joining this organisation and growth continues to remain firmly on the agenda. As such, we are looking to appoint an outstanding Country Manager to this newly created high profile position to lead an exciting growth agenda.

 

Responsibilities as the Country Manager;

  • You will set up and establish a new and innovative sales and commercial operation for this fertilizer organisation
  • You will manage all sales and commercial aspects for the region and will be required to raise the bar, create and manage a new team and have full budgetary control
  • There are significant market opportunities to maximise and as such, you will create an innovative and dynamic sales operation, focusing on the Polish fertilizer marketplace
  • You will formulate and execute the sales and commercial strategy for the country and will be responsible for all business development, sales execution, key account management activities together with accountability for logistics and supply chain
  • You will develop the market for the fertilizer business, focusing on competition, routes to market and pricing strategy, whilst creating alignment with customers including manufacturers, distributors and retailers

 

Skills and experience required of the Country Manager;

  • Fluent in both English and Polish (it would be advantageous if you have an agronomy qualification/background). You will have extensive experience of the fertilizer industry where you will have significant sales, commercial and business development expertise
  • As such, you will be working either for a manufacturing, distribution/wholesaler or retailer, where you will have substantial knowledge of the fertilizer marketplace and supply chain
  • An outstanding leader who is tactical, commercial and credible in equal measure, you will be a forward thinking character and will relish the opportunity to genuinely make your market and lead the business to maximise commercial opportunities
