The S2P Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall health of the S2P process through the implementation of a multi-level governance structure, oversight of the end-to-end S2P process and its associated policies and procedures and accountability for the S2P landscape.
The position of S2P Process owner and TL will directly report to the Manager of S2P Operations.
Key Responsibilities for this Manager include:
Ensures compliance to internal and external policies, regulations and laws within the Source to Pay process
Accountable for maintaining Source to Contract policies and procedures
Interfaces with leadership to review critical Source to Pay priorities, process health metrics and improvement opportunities
Provides approval or rejection recommendations related to S2P policy exceptions and process escalations from Amgen regions or countries
Accountable for the S2P SOX process and compliance
Accountable for implementing and driving governance structure and cadence; monitoring process health and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Service Delivery Leads to continually improve on SLAs and KPIs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or any other highly quantitative discipline
8+ years’ experience in Procure to Pay processes
Experience working with Source to Pay tool and SAP
Experience working for a Global corporation
Strong presentation and influencing skills
Experience in contract negotiations with third parties
Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
Experience leading large teams with multiple disciplines within Procurement or Finance
Experience in managing stakeholders through change
Demonstrated experience in process and service management
Excellent data-driven problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
Ability to influence at all levels with a customer service mindset
Ability to take initiative and work within an autonomous environment
